I think its the exact opposite... Reagan had an identity and a vision... and got everyone on board.
Romney and Sellout would not even state that lower taxes is the way we improved the economy and raised tax revenue in the past and it will work again.
The public is screaming for someone who will make big useful changes.
The definition of insanity is to run guys like Dole, McCain and Romney (who refused to make conservative stands - although he was super compentent guy) and now Bush or Christie. Big govt, big spending sellouts are now what the country is screaming for.
We need guys with the balls to stand up to big spenders --- like scott walker. or stand up to the establishment like Ted Cruz.
We need a change to a sustainable country and economy.
One that does not sacrifice our kids futures.
One that grows an economy, grows jobs and increases liberty.
Running establishment against Obama who got 4 million fewer votes in 12 vs. 08 was a disaster.
Its time to eliminate personal income tax. Cap the budget... in fact decrease spending a penny a year. Have job attrition. Change the campaign finance system.
And tell the insurance companies they screwed up buying off the democrats and the establishment Rs now they have one month to propose a cheap single payer for basic insurance plus supplemental national health exchange system for better insurance or they risk axed...by new legislation.
It's your tea party that hurts the reps in the presidential election. You get moderate guys like Romney kissing the far right wing tea party's ass and that turns off voters who would otherwise consider voting for him.
Rand is mostly considerate and thoughtful and reasonable in his words now and could bring a lot of swing voters to vote for him, but if he does the idiot march like the presidential candidates did in the last election he will push voters away. Then it'll be hello president Hillary, thanks to the tea party.
