That's the problem with the beast. Every stock is somehow involved, and if not, the lawyers will make them involved.
 
took aig on a fairly decent short... worked out well... hopefully you profited on that news that was released earlier this morning on the asBESTos folks...
 
yes granted.. however this morning there was a bill passed that limits $$$ on asbestos related cases or something to that extent... (just spitting this off the top of my head, dont quote me verbatim on that) so the reason for the thread was i wanted to know which companies were directly affected by these asbestos cases recently and which would benefit directly from this bill being passed... so all in all i wound up with aig on a $hort... thats all...
 
Oh, I see.....now that is a great reason to go shopping for them.

Cigarettes also used to have asbestos in them. MO, RJR
US Gypsum has some lawsuits too. I think it is USG.

My husband is involved in some class action stuff with that as a plaintiff.
