Jumping the border is illegal but seeking asylum is not. Asylum seekers must be heard and processed in accordance with the law.

First... these people are "economic migrants" not "asylum seekers". If they were really "asylum seekers" the UN requirements state they must file for asylum at the first safe nation they reach -- which is Mexico.

Why goes hundreds of miles further to the border with California that to Texas? It is because the state and localities in California do not allow the border patrol, INS and DHS to operate inside the state - only directly at the border. In California once these people rush over the border they are "home free".

In Texas, the border patrol and INS operates more than 100 miles inland. All of these illegal immigrants who rush the border would be quickly swept up in Texas.

Why do we need more people. We just have to fulfill the promises we make and cease promising more. Our government worked fine during the sequester when non essentials were sent home. That is part of the reason Ryan and the traitors had to end it so quickly. I am sure in the long run we needed some of the people on vacation... but not all of them.

We could shrink govt via attrition. We could acutual have votes where our politicans have to say we can no increase spending so we have to spend more on people or more on guns but not both and follow through. We can end all of those massive and unnecessary departments because wages would rise dramatically as the work force shrank...
The dollar would get stronger over time as we told our FED to cease creating money.

Everything could work out.
There is no structural reason for more immigrants... it is simple a taste for larger and larger govt that requires more and more people.

I say we go with and intelligent shrinking govt for a decade or two and see how that works out? I promise wages and standard of livings will boom over time if we cap the budget and cap immigration, lower taxes dramatically and tell the FED to cease creating money.

The demand for the dollar will boom. The people will win the cronies will give back a little.

You don't have to take keep taking the red pill. We can wake up. The founders set up a beautiful system lets take it back and use it to its fullest.

Wrong. We have a low procreation problem in America. Americans are simply not having enough children to support the country we built into the future.

If we wish to sustain our current standard of living one of two things has to happen we have to increase child births per household by approximately 30% or we need immigration.

Without the two things above then we are simply going to decline as a nation.

The only way for the U.S. to support our social benefit system and workforce needs in the future decades is to import immigrants. The best source of these immigrants for the U.S. is Mexico and Central America. Most of these people simply want to come here to work.

Sorry but this is nonsense and you should know it, considering you live in a state that has been colonized by Hispanic immigrants. They are a drag on our economy, not a benefit. They consume welfare at high rates, overburden schools and prisons and steal jobs from low skill Americans.
