As I sit here trading, I am overwhelmed by the desire to take opioids

There is a homeless camp a few miles from me with 250 people living there. I talked to one of them and she said that 80% were drug users. The money they have to raise for drugs is a cause of a lot of crimes for sure. I'd love to open a coffee bar in that camp and give away Kratom. Kratom is in the same family as coffee and coffee is the only way I could take the stuff, it actually tastes good in coffee but otherwise it's truly awful tasting. It's cheap, $300 worth could keep a junkie happy for two years if they dosed out a half tsp into coffee a few times a day. Lightly dosing the whole camp like that would run about $100/day. They could stop doing crimes to pay for their habits and it might give them a shot at finding stability.
 
I've led a pretty clean life but often wondered about missing out. So yeah, I've wondered about trying every single drug before they put me under.

Everybody can find one that they like. I like the opioids because I'm thin skinned and they "insulate me" but I found that I can raise endorphins with my imagination: I visualize myself climbing a mountain, pulling myself up to the top with a grandiose leap and receiving the applause and adulation of a small crowd of friends. Seriously, that works for me, cures pain... I tried Cocaine, hated who it turned me into, tried meth, became very very bored, it was not for me. Pot is just ridiculous, it turns off the best parts of the human brain, lowers the iq to that of a housecat... but it feels good in very small doses, I like second hand smoke for that. People learn about empathy from taking MDMA, supposedly some borderline autistic people can gain from that...

I don't take anything but nootropics and supplements nowadays. I learned the visualization thingy, also a technique called "amygdala tickling" works wonders. People will step past the very simplest of answers and get all involved in complex stuff nearly every time, I recommend people learn Chi breathing exercises and any other simple things because sometimes these simple things are worth a fortune...

There was a former addict on TV the other day saying the opposite. That COLD TURKEY is the only way. "We don't give an alcoholic 2 shots of rum in the morning to curb his alcohol desire" is what he said. I've seen the destruction of what drugs can do firsthand, I lived it. Cold Turkey, but they need to want to change which is like telling a manic depressant to be happy.
