Indonesia is a poor country. That photo was taken with a stretched lens.
Those small huts are probably like ice cubes placed side-by-side in a tray.

Outside of that faux mini-paradise neighborhood, you have smog...congestion, broken roads, over population, pollution, trash, semi-broken down drywalled plaster shops, prepaid cellphones from 2007, etc etc

That first bathroom with the black and white tiles is a tad too artistic, in my opinion, but the rest of the estate is lovely.
