Arthur Deco Mentors ET Noobs

Quote from cap'ncod:

Jesus! All the profits are creeping out of their lairs. I'm a self-confessed asshole, as I've stated several times before. Most people are and I love them for that. Man's problems always begin when he attempts to cleanse the asshole. I say live with it. Dog's are smart and where do they go when a pair first meet...I rest my case. Now, I cannot code for toffee. I even have a problem with any serious level of mathematical endeavour. But has this stopped me from trading? No. I must go on and find my way with my limited endowments. A true asshole. But I have come...quiet please...I have come to a rag bag of workable notions of sorts based on the right market (many are vicious bastards that I will have no truck with) the right time (one needs some serious participants otherwise it won't go anywhere) and some sense of direction based on news/ sentiment, pivots and trend. I jump out far too early after grabbing too little but I'm working on endurance and the dreaded premature evacuation syndrome. Leverage and a sense of direction, discipline and routine, these are thoughts for the noob IMO. Hope you don't mind me splurging, Art.

Sorry, I was passed out when you posted. When I awoke I had to sober up enough to place a losing trade. But here I am for you now.

What a stirring motivational tale you tell! A poor young ragpicker of limited intellectual capacity trips over market success and is proud that most of it was accidental. Were Dickens alive today, he would write a dickens of a story about you! "The Trader Ragpicker"

A wonderful gift, as much as a damn curse

But then so too are stubbornness, and ego

I hope you are talking about the practicce of trading and not about me.

Quote from eudaemon:

So simple and so true. Make hundred individual $25 bets in the casino and no one cares. Bet a couple of chocolates and you get heat all over you, not only from the outside.

I like Pachinko, holecarding and the savannah.

Lithium helps, but blunts the highs as a side effect.

You are living proof that trading is gambling. Or maybe that gamblers trade. Been the lithium carbonate route. No fun at all.

Quote from Equalizer:

Monsieur Plecostomus, where art thou?

Ever been to a puppet show? Did you ever see the puppeteer?

Curse you for remembering. What an embarrassment.

I think it is a pity Arthur and his friends haven't written a book. For a person with such imagination, it would most likely become a best seller.
