Army Vet Denied Right To Own A Gun

I don't understand why anyone, let alone a veteran, would need a background check for a .22 rifle in the first place.

I've never heard of a misdemeanor being cause to deny anyone the right to purchase a firearm.
 
Do background checks involve a person or a computer reviewing the application? If computer, does the background check run off an algorithm that denies all applications relating to prior drug charges?

Well, the last time or two around we got a couple new Republicans I know you guys support, Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. We need a GOP majority so guys like them have a stronger voice in how we are governed.

It amazes me how those old guys like McCain manage to hang on way past retirement age without just keeling over.

Blame the gestapo police and anti drug tactics lead in large part by your party and even the so called liberals dump their morals and don't have the balls to correct the drug laws and sentencing laws. Welcome to the police state. Legalize pot and this is from a non drug user. He's lucky he didn't get that charge in Texas 40 years ago back then they locked people up for 10 years for minor drug charges.

Btw, I voted for Bush twice, but I also raised hell over some of the outlandish shit he pulled. The people who support the demonazis will NEVER say anything against their beloved kings in washington...

We have a MASSIVE problem in America, and it will NOT get any better unless Patriots replace political whores. I'm not holding my breath. it seems $$$$$ is much more powerful than fire, high wind, and raging water...:(
