2008 I earned $160,000. Today I am at $290,000 YTD. So, I am better off by that metric.

Are most low income conservative whites and low income democrat leaning blacks better off? I doubt it. But let's hear from the conservative whites that predominate this forum.

How many times are you gonna repeat the same total bullshit? the FACT is obama had 2 full years of complete control of Congress.. he passed whatever he wanted. his economic plan was the stimulus, it didn't do shit except rack up more debt. he spent his time on obamacare.. a new entitlement during the worst recession SINCE the worst recession in the country's history lol. And lets not forget he also fucked over GM bondholders, wasted taxpayer money on Solyndra and other garbage green energy companies, and shut down deep water drilling because of an accident.. people work on those rigs.. just to name a few of his economic policies. The one putting up roadblocks to economic recovery IS obama. He is a fucking clown.

Don't forget that the break in the economy happened during the last two years of W's presidency, ie, right after the Dems took control of the Congress. That's when Barney Frank et al started lending lots of cash to anybody who could fog a mirror and flooded the economy with gazillions of $$ that pushed the RE market way up... That's the bubble that later collapsed taking everything down with unsupported mortgages.
 
Let's not forget it was Bill Clinton that led the repeal of Glass-Steagall. He also paved the way for all the derivatives game playing. Dems also were the ones who pushed the banks to make loans to people that couldn't pay them back. The street did what the street does. They found a way to make money on a losing bet. Eight years of the Bush administration doing nothing but adding fuel to the fire and the meltdown was upon us. In comes Obama claiming to have the fix in hand, adds more fuel to the raging inferno, and now 4 years later wants us to believe it was all a big surprise that he and his party had nothing to do with.
