Working on this today. I have collected a lot of old statements and burnt out shredders trying to destroy it.

Today found this company:

I am now boxing up 2 boxes of stuff and sending it off to be destroyed. It seems secure.

Is there a better way to get rid of old documents that may contain id info?

I do not want another appliance in the house...

On the psych side, I am already feeling better getting rid of the clutter in the trading room. Happy spring cleaning!!!!

When you see an older person turn into a pack rat, it can actually indicate some early dementia and or mental disease.

"hoarding" behavior can be early sign of this.


I'd say I am a transient packrat, I save magazines/articles/materials things with the plan on reading/working on them later.

Every 3-4 months, I get to only 5-10% of it and throw the rest out. (It really is refreshing to be "caught up" )

It is however amazing that if one lives an uncluttered life, how clearly one can think.
