Blacks returning to the New South aren't going back to Mississippi or Alabama, they are going to places like Virginia and North Carolina to where business and growth are. Did you notice that Virginia was blue the last two Presidential elections?

That's the point, the Constitution was built under the premise of equality FOR ALL MEN, so there were problems from the outset. A war had to be fought to begin to correct them.

You're so full of shit. Had the confederacy not seceded there wouldn't have even been a war and slavery would had died out on it's within a decade or two.

The war was waged on the south to force them back into the union. NOT free the slaves moRon.


Oh, and "All Men" didn't/doesn't include women either.

Again the founding fathers had a pretty good idea what would happen if people not qualified to vote were given the vote anyway. Exactly the same kind of mess we're in today.
