Are they tax free like treasuries?
Thinking if just buying treasuries on the secondary market thru a broker would be better than these ETFs.

Actually, if bought thru a broker, you can usually get margin on them to make intraday trades. Overnight holds would require margin to be paid. This is at some brokers. Gotta check the specifics of the one(s) you use.

yes, but not the treasuries. IG and HY and its a basket not single name
