Are there drawbacks to working with such a liquid market?

YEAH, TODD , how are you ?

Your defense of the forex market maker is so admirable and obvious too

Your posts here sounded SO familar to another poster on another forum, did some research and found it
I am putting together some similar posts you made here and on that other famous forum LMAO

Operator is a friend of you ?

As a market maker yourself, you do know this for sure, don't you ? LMAO

a MM such as you ?

Huh

What, you think I'm a marketmaker? lol, I wish I was!

Look fluttrader it's really no problem if you can't support what you've been saying in this thread with logical and reasoned argument, that's nothing new for trading forums, but at least try and discredit me with something believable, lol have another try :D

Too funny....

So, rejoining the arguments, there is no real chance to get real profits with these retail brokers ?
I approached forex because I loved its liquidity, the certainty of the transaction at the market price, the absence of a book queue ...
In forex futures are there all these (imho) advantages ?

Diesis,

You need to realize that all this 3 trillion a day or something like this liquidity is within intra bank market. You as retail trader have no access whatsoever to it. You just trading in virtual world of your broker who gets data feeds from several banks.

Your trades are within that platform only. You can see how this situation can easily be exploited by MM should he wish to.

CME futures have very good liquidity for 6 majors. Globex is a central platform and all price moves represent real trades. You can check stats on CME website for daily liquidity.

Thanks RedDuke for replying to me.

I'm sad to learn this :(
Is this a limitation of capital or the intra bank market is limited to banks or professional investors ?

Globex ... I have to learn about this ...

It is both. To get access we are talking about a minimum account of several millions.

Actually it is not that difficult. You would need to find a broker and decide which platform best suit your needs.

For starters, you can go to mirus futures website and get a free trial (no need to even open an account) to zen-fire demo feed. They will also give you a link to NinjaTrader platform, which is an excellent charting and order entry tool (also free for charting and demo trading). zen-fire demo feed is real time and very stable.

You can be up and running within 1 hour, then of course the hard part comes.

Why on earth would any retail trader need access to the interbank market, he's never going to put through the same volume and get the same rates as a mainstream marketmaker!

It makes absolutely no difference to the trader whether he's trading in a real or a virtual market as long as the prices he's being quoted, and getting filled at, reflect the market.

Sheeesh, you people have some weird ideas!
