Are there any Trading Educators that work?

Let’s shut this SusiePig up once and for all. She wants some of you really stupid people to actually believe Puretick is somehow “bad” based on the fact that she has never been a room member, as she puts it, but observed her brother trading.

If we give HER the benefit of the doubt then how does she explain two of the many emails her brother sent. I could post them all but I think I make the point. Note the period of time that he was a Puretick room member.

Also note that we paid him $1,000 for being the trader who most followed our room calls (and he only took 50% of the calls).

Was he lying to his sister? Or was he lying to me?

And if he is lying to me-----WHHHHHHYYYYYYYY?

The guy was paying me 299.00 per month for educational services. Between June and October wouldn’t he figure out that we “were scam artists” and say “Alex I have followed all your calls for a week. All of them were big losers yet you marked them profits. You are a scam artist. Send me my money back today or I will report you to the CFTC.”

Nope.

No complaints.

No protests.

Even endorses us to his sister who joins our room for a week.

But now says she never joined. Even that is nuts. At least she should say she joined for a week to witness the “GREAT SCAM OF THE CENTURY.”

But no. She says it is a scam based on her brother saying we did a great job but she had to convince him that he was really losing money (even though she was not in the room).

The real fun comes when timextrader and 2 or 3 other losers say “yeah you tell em susiepig, I believe you that Puretick is a scammer because I too have never been in the room. I don’t believe your brother because he WAS in the room and he says Alex taught George more than he ever could imagine.”

Anyway for the one or two ETers who have a brain tonight and any ability to reason (who will probably sign up for our room tomorrow) you can view the 2 George emails below. The rest? Well just cheer susiepig on.

Hi Alex,

With your training and guidance, I have begun to have some success trading 3-min trendline breaks that are with the 15-min trend. Only got 3 pts on the break this morning, but have had better success earlier this week. I have a question; how do you know, at or before the break, to get out with 5 pts (like this morning) vs. pressing for more? I sometimes see spikes through the trendline that result in losses, though they could have been exited for 5 pts, and other times, I see extended moves that should be trailed.

Can you help?

I.ve had education with Optionetics, Learn to Trade (Canada), Safety in the Market (Australia but they come to the US), Adrienne Tograhie, and FXTE. Yes, it cost a lot, but its helped me a great deal.

You can get alot from books....but there is something to be said for interactive education, plus the network you will have along the way.

To me, education is worth it. Look at the idiots who have lost money with the likes of Madoff, Stanford, and others. My nephew lost $200,000 recently...he has no education in financial trading. I say spend the money. I've always invested in education, professionally, and with my sports. Pushed me beyond what I could have done alone.

Now, you still need to do the time infront of the computer.

Whatever you do, do not buy a "training package" as a starting point from any education service . . .there's too much on the internet for free that's educational. Try to find a service that seems to emulate your trading style and see if you can sign up for a monthly fee. It may not be cheap, but you'll get some good insight into different "setups" and money management approaches being used out there - then at least you can cancel and move on without thousands of $$$ having been spent. This will give you some new ideas if you are in a rut - or at least prove to you that most of the trading rooms just aren't that good. Don't forget, 99% of them are living off the monthly fees, not their trading. That forces them to behave suspiciously.

If you are just starting out, then I wouldn't pay a dime for anything except books and a trading platform. All the while you should also plan to trade quite a bit on a simulator to find out what suits you. Trading is 90% self-discovery for most of us. A trading service won't help you in that department. The more you learn the more you will realize that nobody available to you knows as much or does as well as you think. The really good traders prefer anonymity or aren't motivated to help.
