You disappoint me Cutten. When are you going to internalize that it is the stock market that determines economy, and not the economy that determines stock market prices. You need to wash your brain from what you learned in school/academic journals/books/etc.

Buffet is right, and he will win his bet. It is the buyers of those puts who will be naked at end of day.

How could you do it? Management is just not built that way. The focus would be on the negative. The first course of action is damage control, then man the shovels to dig your way out.
