Are there any Lady Traders on ET? How do you trade, what are your strategies?

I'm going to take a wild stab as to why there aren't that many women trading....

I'm guessing they have a harder time than men getting over the emotional issues that arise from trading.

Just a thought.

Seems like I read somewhere that women do not tend to blow out their accounts as often as men. The difference in testosterone levels might actually be part of the reason.
 
i insist this thread be closed down. it is UN PC and only seeks to differentiate between women and men in their abilities. this is unfair as we all know - WOMEN ARE EQUAL TO MEN IN EVERYWAY (as they keep reminding us) SO WHY SHOULD THEIR TRADING METHODS BE ANY DIFFERENT?

besides, its common knowledge chicks cant trade for sh!t because they are too busy looking in their compacts to do their make up than look at a trading screen.

if only coinz was around - hed show us all what wimmin do best - preferably with one of his chit-chat threads.

Women traders definitely have the advantage of a "wait and see" mentality. Men are trigger happy.

Analogy: 9-month gestation. 2-second insemination.

Luckily, the guys keep pedaling the world around. Whew!

Hi I'm here...

ran accross this thread and am tipping my toe in the H2O...I have been investing/trading our family's IRA since my husband threw up his hands in disgust sometime during the 2000-2002 big bad bear. The truth is although he is/was the businessman and far better than I in math/stat etc...but I have no emotion when it comes to money...I just enjoy the mental challenge and "game"...I'm now mostly trading stocks/options and enjoying the community of traders that I've found here and over at the yahoo Options Club and Optionstrading coach....

One difference and perhaps an edge to woman, is they tend to be more intuitive...in a macro sense...

Why do you want this thread to be deleted or moved to chit chat. Where are the female traders? I do not think there are any here in ET.

I wanted to get some ladies that I could talk to and discuss trading. This was an honest attempt to do that.

Don't you boys think it would be nice to have some ladies in ET? Will some of you traders please get your wives to join or please invite some lady traders to ET. We need them!
