Are there ANY futures prop firms?

I am looking for a futures prop firm in NYC area. Is ANYONE on this site currently at a futures prop firm in NYC? Or anywhere near NYC, like CT?

Most of the futures firms are in Chicago, not NY. Because most firms are started by former locals from the CBOE, CME and CBOT.

You might want to look into MBF in NY. Very, very competitive though.

It's very competitive at MBF. Your chances of getting in there are slim. Plus they are hiring fewer and fewer human traders and hiring more programmers. This is a common theme among prop futures firms. They don't want warm bodies anymore, they want to automate everything.
