YOU are missing the point of futures. My point was that you could profit/lose HALF of what bitcoin moves if you over capitalize your account.

All you are saying is that you can reduce the leveraged amount by over capitalizing and I get that this reduces the risks but I'm trying to avoid leverage altogether. That was my original question.

Friendly advice, buy Bcash and forget about Bitcoin. Their prices are going to switch. You might actually want to be diversified in a BCH, LTC, ETH combo. BTC is the thing of the past...
