Are some markets more profitable (or less risky) to trade than others?

"With forex there is no commission fee. When you open a trade the broker takes the spread (sometimes as little as a single point, but when you close the trade no additional fees are taken"

What's that all about. Sounds wrong, to say the least.

hm... well, in my opinion, unless someone wants to live like a dog, it takes $1,000,000 in your trading account to 'trade for a living.'

I am working on getting a mil.
....

Nope. It really doesn't take 1M trading account to make a decent living.

Keep working on building your trading account: thats good .... but once it gets to a certain point you have to make some changes to your trading or scale it up with more people, or just keep your account at a chosen size, trade it, and take regular profits.

Now, how are things in SD ? I just sold a a couple of properties in So. Ca. and moved my family out of the area - miss it.

I really enjoy living in the San Diego area. I can trade in the morning before work (6:30 to 8:15am) and catch the last hour of the trading day during my lunch. If I was a full-time trader, I could go to the beach every afternoon :D
