well said Princessa. I Met my wife when I was penniless...I mean chapter 7 poor. She must have saw deep value in my name. Because if I were her I would have sold me short with impunity.

Meet a good catch when you have nothing and if they stay dont let them go!

Married for nearly 50 years, the lil lady knows better than to nag about my trading. She let me have it though when she found out that I nearly got wiped out following the Hunt Bros. into the silver market. Nowadays she gets her daily spending cash and leaves me alone, just the way I like it. I had a close call last month when she said she thought she saw my car parked at the local Go Go bar during trading hours. I told her that was ridiculous. I was lucky she didn't decide to go in., she would have caught me with my skippers hat on handing out lincolns like Big Daddy Warbucks.

i don't think guys go for these women to live with them...

Quote from princessa:

if you go for women with these values and try to play up to these values then don't complain when what you get is a shallow, obnoxious, unpleasant person to live with, because it's what you asked for and therefore it's what you deserve.

I bet she feels alot better now that you have a secure and stable life rolling the dice on whatever youre trading.

married, and hubby is glad i do what i do. he finds my trading boring, so i don't give him many details, but if something goes particularly well, i mention it and he's happy for me (us).

actually, to address what was said earlier about what women look for in men, men are clueless. that is why they do all the wrong things and get all the wrong types of women and then complain that it's the woman's fault.

when i was but a wee lass (teenager), i met hubby in college. usually, at that age, women are looking for an attractive male. i was no exception and found hubby cute, but i was also looking for someone who would love me to the ends of the earth and back. as i got to know him better, i realized that increasingly it mattered to me that a man have very strong character as well. now, years later, those things are still important to me. i guess that's why the marriage is still a happy one.

it really annoys me to hear guys say stuff like that women want money and fast cars, etc. these men are sooooo clueless. these are shallow values. if you go for women with these values and try to play up to these values then don't complain when what you get is a shallow, obnoxious, unpleasant person to live with, because it's what you asked for and therefore it's what you deserve.

Thanks for letting us know how women pick husbands. Start a thread on it :D.

Actually trading is not how I make my primary income. And we do quite well.

Why the need to be a dick?

My chrystal ball is just fine, I never trade on big event days, do you? ( what a schmuck if you do)The reversal call was made with the dow up 110 points, and it closed up 138. Not much of a miss considering the trip q's I trade are lower now than they were Friday when I said go short, the reversal will turn out to be a top, how's that, jackball.
