Most institutional clients don't care. They only care about the end result of their portfolio. They trust the manager to accumulate positons in their best judgement. Unfortunately win or loss for the client the bank wins.
Its all about math, for years now banks etc have been spending millions on programmers and software. Pennies add up very quickly to dollars, ask McDonalds...all thoughs pennies we never take makes them millions every year. In fact McDonald judges it's pricing so pennies are left over. Pennies have always been good business.
