Are Kiyosaki's books Worth?

I have my share of major biz failures and successes. So I know part what Kiyosaki talks about. But I'm pretty new to investing and passive income. So I attended one of his seminars nearby to see if I could get inspired. But it was disappointing and the event organizer keeps sending me messages to buy their newly launched cryptocurrency. wtf

But still I find many articles referencing Kiyosaki and his numerous new and old books, so I wondered if the content of his books itself might be accessible and worthwhile.

I have Richest Man Babylon, will start reading. Thanks.
Ya, I heard all kinds of stories about his seminars. He even did one in my city (Sao Paulo, Brazil), where he got booed by the audience and had tons of requests for refunds, it was a media circus. He wants to help people to get financially free but asks for 5 grand to tell people basic finance stuff, whatever help he did to them with Rich Dad Poor Dad, he takes it away and then some by ripping them off like that. Thats the danger of people like him. He seems to want to get rich above anything else

I don't necessarily disagree with John Reed's analysis, but old John is a bit clueless as to investment himself (other than real estate investment i suppose). He once said that shares are very illiquid since there may only be say 10 at the offer and 20 at the bid. I had to correct him to tell him that 10 meant 10x100 shares and 20 meant 20 x 100 shares so not so illiquid. Also he thought most of the oil imported into the US came from Canada. I again had to correct him to say it comes mainly from Saudi Arabia lol. This was perhaps 10 years ago.

He was right about oil, it mostly comes from Canada. About 3 times as much from Canada compared to Saudi Arabia. The difference was smaller in 2008 but Canada was still the major supplier. Source: EIA

Paying 5K for a seminar and expecting to get value IS the financial lesson. Don't do it.
