Are investors holding 200% of GME shares?

What is your opinion on all of this if you don’t mind my asking?

This 140% short can be caused by 2 different issues:

1. Naked shorting. Illegal.
2. Multiple shorting of the same stock. Legal.

3. Well, a combination of both.

At this point it is unclear which one caused the going over 100% of the float. I wouldn't be surprised if the brokerages let HFs to short shares what weren't located, aka naked.
