A saxo WL partner, but now I'm not sure there is such a restriction. At first I tried it with a demo account and received a "Trading short the selected instrument is disabled" but a few minutes ago I tried it with my live account and managed to open a short position for the Nasdaq 100.
Anyway I always hear from others that trading CFDs is like playing the casino and the odds are against me.
Can anyone please explain this? Why I have worse chances if the CFD is fairly tracking the real index? I haven't experienced any incorrect price movement in the CFD that would differ from the underlying index. A compared many times the CFD chart and the index chart and haven't found significant differencies.
I agree that in a tight situation (i.e. 1-2 ticks from my SL) the price can be manipulated, but I thinks it is not common.
