I was talking to an Asian acquaintance the other day (vietnamese) and he was talking like
racism against Asians by whites is similar to blacks. Like racist whites group asians
and blacks together in there intolerance.

I told him that he couldn't be more wrong.

Black racism is a function of stereotypes that go way back.
Its deeply ingrained.

I told him that 99 out of 100 racist to racist "light" whites would take
an asian living next door to them over a black.

He didn't seem to get what i was saying..

I was surprised he thought that way.

Racism against Asians is very real. The rich liberal elites discriminate against them all the time.

The concept of "model minority" isn't really racist by the textbook definition but it does carry with it some negative weight. In otherwords, people who view Asians as model minorities consider them "white" which necessarily discounts their own racial makeup. It's not really racism but it is stereotyping. There's really no such thing as "positive" racism despite what the intersectional critical race theory crazies say.

Similar to what our boy @KCalhoun posts about asian women being submissive and loyal. Except that does qualify as X-on-asian racism since you know, their behavior is being attributed to their race, rather than perhaps their culture and moreover the stereotype is by and large not true.

Though in terms of oppression olympics Asians are only one tier higher than Whites in terms of "claim to oppression". For all intents and purposes Asians and Whites are considered basically the same people by the left and you'll find, at least in my experience, quite a lot of conservative leaning Asians. Comes with the family, money, country territory.

This just isn't true. The amount of actual anti-asian racism you hear from the inbred south/white supremacists (I mean the literal ones not the ones the left thinks about) is pretty vile. Blacks hate Asians almost universally in my experience. Asian people exist in a weird superposition of states where they are a minority but treated the same as whites for most purposes, but racist whites hate them, and other minorities hate them as well. Guess it comes with being the champion of success in terms of minorities.

I don't know according to Joe Biden, black people are just this huge monolith without any diversity or individuality. Of course being part of the black race is dependent on whether or not you vote for an old pasty white guy who is pushing 80 years old.

As a man of Asian descent, racism is real. What is dumb is Asians voting for Democrats who are in fact engaged in discrimination against Asians. Now, this has been going on for a long time now. Asians entering college are required to have higher GPAs and SAT scores for starters compared with students of other descent among other hurdles. Add affirmative action to that used against Asians. Most extreme liberal staff in charge of admissions of extreme liberal schools like Harvard, Yale, etc. discriminates against Asians routinely. They are assumed to be smart and privileged, whatever that means so, discriminating against them is A-okay. Now, maybe, the next generations of Asians will wise up with the lawsuit filed against Harvard recently. The jury is out though. It boggles the mind that smart people like Asians cannot figure out who is discriminating against them all these years and continue to live in the Democrat plantation and continue to blindlessly, vote for Democrats?
