Are all price patterns the same? (examples)

I don't care one way or the other. You and dweedle-dumb are good entertainment. It was spelt out for you *THREE TIMES* in the other thread. And you passed right over it! Then expect to goad people into handing it over??! You're nuts. But please, blame other people. Because it's clearly their fault they didn't help you enough. Afterall, the world "owes" you...

Ya ya, the 1-2-3 shit that makes billions.

Please.

This is why I don't use my own judgement to determine HH LL HL and LH. I use an indicator that automatically creates it on my chart. Then I just need to analyse the PA. You need to automate as much of the process as possible.

Before I get to that part I need to figure out how to know when it is actually a high or low, when a reversal ends vs continuing. It all just seems to random to me in real time.

Patterns even appear in randomly generated data. Look at all those S and R points! Higher highs and higher lows in up trends obviously because that's the only way an uptrend can form.

The man`s told you to start a journal,in the other thread, but your still wasting everyone`s time!2 bars journal, that`s all you need to start.

What? I've had multiple journals for years here.

I mean technically it's a LL after price retraces a certain amount, but do you have a way of knowing if the retracement is going to continue vs go back down and make a HL, DB, or LL?

To say know 100%.... no I don't. However, when I am following my rules I have a 70% win rate on equal risk vs reward.

Sounds like you've got a method that is working for you. Nice.

You trying to approach the market as if there was a way for certainty, there is not, which is why your method of approaching it is via long term average down via the long side and on major pullbacks, because you search for that certainty

OP, i have this feeling you are looking for something that works all the time.

Start off with the premise that MOST i.e. at least 50% of your trades will LOSE. Not 10%, or 20%, but 50% (and more likely 60%).

When doing your research always have this in your mind.
