Yeah but unlike with democrats david duke is not a celebrated member of the republican party, like grand wizard robert byrd was for liberals. Once again hypocrisy on almost everything is a strong characteristic of the left.
And like all good democratic sheep, you immediately call someone a racist when losing your ass in an argument.

Sure, in the simplest manner possible. Shooting another person is an extreme act. Therefore, they are an extremist.
The simple state of being conservative limits ones perspective. You are less open minded. If a person is driven down a closed minded path this causes a sick or uneducated mind to behave in an extreme manner. It is the source of all bigotry I'm sorry to say: closed minded, uneducated and sick.
Maybe you need to research the history of the KKK - which is closely tied to Democrats. This extends into the modern era. In North Carolina, KKK members ran for offices in 2010 & 2012 as Democrats. In the 1990s, 13 members of the North Carolina legislature were KKK members - all were Democrats.
So? What's your point? Are you once again drawing the misleading conclusion that party affiliation defines one as conservative or liberal?

Quite often politicians place themselves where they have the greatest chance of success. You're describing a very large portion of the U.S. population. Is it realistic to label them all liberal.
