What is foreign debt? You mean he borrowed money from another country? How do I know if my debt is foreign?

I think Trump will know who (OWN) the debt he have. For example who is buying here the repackage security? Which banks to in which countries?

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-laddercapital-m-a-exclusive-idUSKBN13R276

New York-based Ladder had about $6.2 billion of assets on its balance sheet as of September, $2.4 billion of which were commercial real estate loans and $2.7 billion of which were commercial real estate-related securities.

It has helped finance many of Trump's famous Manhattan properties, including Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue and the Trump Building on Wall Street.

Starting this month, lenders such as Ladder that repackage and sell their loans as mortgage-backed securities are required to keep a portion of them on their books. Many of them are scrambling to meet these new capital requirements

let me say you are the first person I have read here that actually gave a good argument to support something anti Trump. You have changed my mind on that issue. That was one of the few legit arguments I have seen anyone make against trump

for instance... Trump being a racist is bullshit. the only legit argument is about the judge... and that argument is weak.

If I were defending someone being sued by a hispanic plaintiff I would file a motion to ask a that judge who was a member of La Raza to recuse himself or herself. Just as if I were defending against a white guy and the judge were a member of a white power group.

Judges are supposed avoid even the appearance of bias.

The Facts

As The Post and other media outlets have pointed outrepeatedly, Curiel is a member of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association, which is a professional organization for Latino lawyers. The group is the San Diego local affiliate of the California La Raza Lawyers Association, whose membership comprises lawyers practicing in California, and is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade organization. It has an affiliated 501(c)(3) scholarship fund that awarded 22 scholarships totaling $34,000 in 2014. More on that later.

This group is not the National Council of La Raza, the Hispanic civil rights nonprofit organization that has pushed for comprehensive immigration reform in Congress with a pathway to citizenship and legalization for undocumented immigrants. It’s often referred to as simply “La Raza,” especially in the context of the immigration debate.

To recap this simple fact: San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association ≠ National Council of La Raza.

When Trump began his public tirade against Curiel, Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson and other supporters conflated the two groups, which both use “La Raza.” But now, even conservative groups have acknowledged that they are separate organizations.

A literal translation for “La Raza” is “the race,” but it’s interpreted as a broader term describing the Latino community.
Opponents of immigration note that the term has roots in the Chicano nationalization movement of the 1960s. But “La Raza” is a common name incorporated throughout the community and often used by Latino organizations and businesses, including restaurants and medical clinics. A search for “la raza” on yellowpages.comturned up more than 3,000 results in California alone.

“The only tie that we have is that we serve the Latino community, and they do as well,” said Luis Osuna, president of the lawyers association. “But they’re a politically driven advocacy group, and we’re just a local diversity Bar association that focuses on both diversity and equality in the legal field, but particularly among Latinos.”

This lawyers group says on their website they are 'not affiliated', but part of the 'community' of la raza. per dailycaller article. As if that's supposed to satisfy anyone that they don't share the same goals?

Luis Osuna, president of the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association, is quoted as saying "[w]e have no pro-Mexico agenda."

Oh, is that right, luis?
Then what's this your group put on twitter?

On February 3, 2015, the organization tweeted, "Are you a member of House of Mexico? You can learn more about their great work below: http://fb.me/76CDut6Au."

The House of Mexico, whose home page is the link the association tweeted, has a self-stated mission "to share, celebrate, educate and promote the rich art, culture, and history of Mexico."

Then, on September 2, 2015, the organization tweeted, "SDLRLA supports House of Mexico San Diego" with an link to a Change.org petition to "Tell House of Pacific Relations that Mexico needs a stand-alone house in Balboa Park."

According to this petition being promoted by the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association:

The continued attacks on Mexico and Mexicans must end. We say, "Basta! Enough!" Mexico deserves its own house in a prominent location.

If those are not pro-mexican statements, then what are, fred?

Given that it runs contrary to federal statues and the common law for sitting judges to be members of such activist organizations, this is potentially a criminal violation by these judges.

How can anyone claim that the statements they've made on twitter do not constitute pro mexico advocacy.

hey its how it makes me feel. isn't that the left's argument?

As you said... La Raza means race. virtually by definition that is racist.

What if I were a member of a group called The White Race Lawyers association. And I said we are just serving the community and everyone can join.

You think people would not be talking about my bias and calling me unfit. I would be removed from the bench faster than you can say Jerry Brown or Sacramento.

again feelings and appearances do matter in this issue... a judge should be avoiding the appearance of bias. And law clients have every right to criticize a judge for that.

Lets take whites out of it.
What about the Asian Race Lawyers Association. Would that not be racist on its face for a judge?

no, it's not. As the right likes to argue, Mexican is not a race. And it's not like the exclude white or black Hispanics from it.
