oh darn, why didn't i think of that..
years ago did work for a company that offered 15%, which i actually participated exactly like that... didn't want to hold long term and there was a minimum hold period, so I basically just shorted in a different account just to cash in the 15%
but didn't think of an idea to actually start a lending company to do this... had no clue why anybody would not take the free money.
