Apple becoming "uncool" - this image is the core of their business

Quote from USAtrader:

"they're going to continue to have a product line that people will enjoy. ". That, specifically, is most definitely independent of the direction of the stock price. Not to say that it is unrelated to the performance of the company itself. People can continue to love their products while the financial community's sentiment over the stock can change. Those 2 things are not inexorably tied.

again, i'll disagree, most of the shareholders (including institutions) track apples performance on sales, sales are what has been the revenue driving device for the company and revenues have been a big reason why the stock has performed well (and why investor sentiment feels it will continue to do so). if you point out a reason why you feel that way instead of just thinking and saying they're unrelated I assure you it would be linked to their products.

Saw it on the front page of the website Digg. Everybody's voting it up.

Recent backlash against Facebook as well.

What is this new trend?

It started around 1988 when Apple released the Macintosh II series with the 16mhz MC68020 processor to compete with the IBM PS/2.

Quote from Ghost of Cutten:

I guess these are the same kind of people who called Bob Dylan "Judas" when he went electric. Some people don't like it when the mainstream discovers their little cult.

Didn't like Bob Dylan before or after
