Apparently the U.S. has taken out Iran's Quds General

The networks were showing writing on the wall at the embassy in Iraq where the occupiers had written: "General Soleimie is our leader."

I think they should just leave that on the wall but cross out the "is" and replace it with "was."

Once again proving that I am a flexible kind of guy and can meet people halfway.

The fact that this fucker was in Baghdad tells you e everything.... Iran should shut the fuck up...didn't they used to hate Iraq and now they are all buddy buddy sending their military leaders into Iraq.

It's is sketchy as balls, though appears the guy traveled freely through Iraq (being neighbors and all), and Baghdad remains an international hub. His companions don't paint a pretty picture
Pompeo is out with the justification for the strike. His only problem is the Trump administration has no credibility and the circumstances around a senate trial of Trump make all of this seem highly suspect.

Many will grab on to that first paragraph and ignore the rest but it is also possible DoD, CIA and the White House had to make this move for one reason or another despite the optics.

Either way, the whole thing is very cloudy right now. This move has spurred the State Department to issue an alert that ALL Americans should leave Iraq - which Iran is very grateful for. And now almost all government officials across the globe are potential targets.

This all of course Trump’s fault. If he didn’t set his policies based on Obama jealousy the Middle East would be a much safer place.

Now the question is 1. What will Iran do and 2. Is the Trump administration really ready to handle this situation?

We are not talking much about yesterday's leaked emails proving Trump ordered aid be held up are we?

Iran's response will need to remain by proxy, until Trump is goaded into attacking their territory. The world is already sympathetic enough post JCOPA pull out and fed up with American interventionism, so they should attempt to keep that scorn alive.

Really, what everyone should be asking is where's "peace in the middle East Jared" in all of this?

Not seeing enough Americans being killed this week, and the impeachment scam is not on the front burner today?

Poor Baby.

The entire planet has seen this and variations on it by now today. Trump engineering a "war time president" type distraction for his personal political woes.

He has fucked everything up.

The world only sees this as Trump needs a distraction so he is making a war for himself. People are going to die because little cocksuckers like yourself want to feel good through bully Trump.

He is just a man kiddo, just a chief administrator who has failed and easily replaced. The time of kings passed a couple hundred years ago.

The Middle East is a shit show right now. Not that it isn’t always a shit show, just a few levels up.

We do not talk about Middle East peace anymore because Israel has adopted a one state policy which everyone understands means perpetuating conflict.

Kushner and trump’s alliance with Saudi Arabia was convenient from their perspectives as real estate developers but a total misread of the region from a statecraft/foreign policy angle.

The Saudis do not carry the muscle anymore since Trump released Syria to the Russians and let Iran run amok.

The Shiites are moving events, the Saudis are flat footed and the Israelis are completely off of the map. All while we are losing ground and reactive rather than proactive.

Ok some half-assed predictions...

Iran realizes it cannot attack Israel. They also understand that they could lose their entire Navy if they attack Hormuz shipping. One relatively soft target for them is Saudi Arabia. Another is Europe.

I remember reading about an Iranian terrorist attack in Thailand. The guy threw a bomb but it struck a tree, bounced back towards him and blew his legs off. Expect random attacks in third party countries similar in nature and expertise.

What was the general doing in Baghdad?

What was the general doing in Baghdad?
He was coordinating the attacks on the embassy and planning attacks on other US facilities.

He was also responsible for Iranian operations in Syria. He was involved in the bombing of the marine barracks in Beirut and assorted other bad stuff.
