Half of Trump's campaign is in jail while you lose your load over a 'complaint' by a 'conservative activist' being reported by conservative ballwashing state TV 'fox news'.
That's why nobody gives a shit because your entire side are a bunch of convicted criminals and liars led by the biggest notorious lying demented moron known to man who make accusations all the time and never follow up on it. Where are all the Clinton foundation prosecutions? When is Obama going to jail for 'spying' on Trump? Bunch of fake news peddlers want us to take Trump University retards seriously. LOL

This is not a pretty situation for the dems.
She will not face any criminal penalties because she is not a Republican but they will definitely fine her/her campaign whatever. This is a fairly serious scenario. She took big campaign dollars and squirreled them away into an LLC that had no oversight or reporting requirements. Not good. They might as well shut that whole campaign financing enforcement office down if they overlook this one.
But even with just a civil fine, the dems are seeing some air go out of their tires. Ragging on people going to DC and doing funny things with money is a big part of AOC's schtick. She might want to slide under the table a bit now when the topics come up.
So the dems take a hit if she has a criminal charge, but she wont, but the dems in general take a major hit because a lot of them think trumps alleged stormy campaign violation (which isnt) is their road to bagging him. So how the hell do they go down that road now if AOC skates with just a civil fine on what is a major, major violation. I mean, taking campaign funds and sliding them over into an account where they become unknown is ugly. Much uglier than what John Edwards did and they rolled him over very, very hard. He skipped because he had a flimsy excuse based on an assertion that the donor had given the funds to him personally not for the campaign but no one wants to go through what he did.
Trump has no campaign violation whatsoever for the stormy thing. But let the dems lean into it hard if they want to. They will end out blowing both of AOC's legs off if they go on a rage campaign about how you cannot overlook any violations.

My read on the AOC FEC situation after reading the stories is that this is a minor issue that will result in a fine at most.

Of course it will be a fine at most. It's AOC. If Stone or Mannafort or Cohen had been involved they would have five swat teams busting down the doors of the organization that the funds were diverted to. And dont think for a minute that I am not serious.
I wonder what the chit chat would be in the media and around DC if it were discovered that Trump had diverted campaign funds to a private account or organization under his control.
If Camp Trump had done it and I could get two nipples for every time the words "bombshell report" was used by the press, I would be a happy man indeed.
