The dems keep pointing out that polls show that the people love the postal service. And why wouldnt they? They would love it less if the true cost were passed along to them.

Half the damn economy is shut down but the frigging Post Office is still delivering mail on sundays. Who the hell needs to get junk mail seven days a week in many places and if that important letter from the lawyer telling you that your wife is leaving you for her yoga instructor and taking everything you own arrives on a Monday rather than on Sunday, what frigging difference does it make overall in the scheme of things?
