AOC - can she get any dumber

Have you ever taken a stand in person on anything where you did not hold the high ground or just could not be hurt?

What happens is you do something unpopular and then people complain at you, then you usually take their selfish complaints into the sunlight etc. Its a process.

There is nothing more selfish then funding & promoting candidates to primary the sitting elected officials of a party that you are a member of. Have some integrity and leave the party if you are going to do this.

if I do a quick search, will I find your support of the tea party?

AOC has not introduced any legislation and maybe it can be argued that lots of other reps have not either.

There are outright duds in Congress, many of them, but in fairness, there are also a lot of congressional grunts who just work hard for their district and maybe are not DC stars or legislation showhorses or "thought leaders." Casework for their district is their thing.

So I am open to evaluating the congressional reps from more than one angle. But I don't see AOC doing much or anything for her district. They get to see her bloviating in the national media, that is about it. And then they get to see her going around the country to bloviate in other districts for and against other dems.

No, you are completely wrong.

There is a two party system in the US, against the intent of the founders. It is not so democratic representative as the whips override the reps voted in to use their judgement for their constituents.

So she is perfectly correct to do what she did according to her conviction it is the right thing to do. Aoc is exactly the type who could in the future get campaign finance and other essential things done.

Dont hide your light under a bushel, if you actually have a light that is.

She is not dumb.

One of the expectations of a Democratic House member is that they raise money for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC). Usually a Democratic house member spends 4 hours each day calling to raise money for the DCCC. It is part of the expectations if you are included in the Democratic caucus.

If AOC refuses to raise money for the DCCC then she should be ejected from the party.

You will not find my support for the Tea Party.
I find plenty of support from you for Trump in the early days of his win. Having identified as a Democrat in the past, how do you feel about this outsider squashing his lifelong GOP counterparts and his obvious anti GOP tendencies? What about the expectation of endorsement of other cons he decided not to endorse?

Amusing that you claim to find support from me for Trump from the "early days of his win". I stated I did not vote for him and criticized his behavior. As with all Presidents I outlined which actions of his administration I supported and which I opposed (just like I listed out today with Biden's EOs). Trying to claim that I supported Trump simply because you found me supporting a particular action of his administration is asinine (which you tried to do before).

I will, of course, note that I believed the Russia "witch-hunt" and first impeachment were done on very weak grounds and hurt Democrats. The Democrats would have been much better off going after his financial shenanigans as a basis for censure or impeachment -- but they did not pursue this logical path which would have taken a lot of work on their part.

The Presidential election of 2016 was really choosing between two evils -- a narcissistic ego-maniac versus a complete crony capitalist.

When you believe the 4 hours a day begging is toxic to the institution, you don't go along.

This is the campaign finance reform required. I have see so many skilled and intelligent enter politics with ideas and energy but surprisingly quickly have that broken down look.

Get the campaign finance fixed or it never ends. Mary Poppins (perhaps Mrs Doubtfire) gets turned into Lindsay Graham in the current system.

Well done AOC.

I assume you have seen that documentary or special report on these call centres? It's brutal.

The record speaks for itself GWB. I also notice you avoided the question
