You tried to make the argument that the south wasn't racist because blacks haven't left so I was not changing the subject.
No, I made the argument that your affirmation that there is such a thig as a "racist state" is complete bullshit. So, again, your attempt at deflection doesn't work. And I added: "All that means is that, somehow, even during Jim Crow and segregation it wasn't bad enough to make them move(given that they had choices, which they definitely have today), which contradicts even more your "racist state" BS.
The fact they didn't move then and don't move now proves that even though there can be racists idiots here and there and even racist laws in place, that is not representative of the people in general and that the great majority isn't racist(regardless of party affiliation).”
Virginia is less racist today than many other Confederates states but there are still plenty racist conservative whites there today.
The point ist that there isn't a racist state, but there can be racist people(individuals), which are presente almost everywhere, but specially nowadays, they are always a miniscule group compared to the majority of people, regardless of party affiliation. These are people that always try to generalize and categorize people in groups and assume things about individuals based on party affiliation, geography, state, country, religion, etc...
Take Nazis, for example, they hate all black people without knowing anything about black individuals(there are nice black people and there are horrible black people).
There are also people in the US that say that just because someone is part of a political party, this makes them automatically racist or something horrible. According to your posts on this site, you are one example of these people. In other words, your flawed line of thinking regarding conservatives is a perfect analogy to the flawed line of thinking of nazis.
