Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar are boosting a petition against Joe Biden nominating his former chief of staff to a new role in his administration, calling Bruce Reed a "deficit hawk” and criticizing his past support for Social Security and Medicare cuts.

Any cuts made will be done in Congress.....they are not really concerned about the Chief of Staff being picked who has some history of being a deficit hawk...they are trying to pretend to show they have some power or influence while Biden picks his Cabinet.

If AOC and Ilhan are so conocerned about those things then work on it in Congress where shit is done rather than trying to nit pick staff hires.
