Ruled by them? In a democracy? (or at least a democratic republic). In a democracy, don't the politicians answer to the people? Think about it. Ruled by them. This is the Democratic ideal. It's an oligarchy, or at least that is what they want. Anyone who does not toe their line will get it six ways from sunday. Remember, this is the party of diversity. A better term would be the party of hypocrisy.

Before you try ducking from getting hit by the hypocrisy stick, GOP equally wants to tell you how you are supposed to live your life right down to the exact Christian values you must have or are against the GOP platform. Since when was the GOP hands off and not trying to rule people?
