Anyone watching the debates tonight?

McCain lost it briefly during the Kissinger discussion.

The dem handlers need to go over that part intensely, and find out what triggered McStrangelove's outburst and hit that weakness over and over again...

I noticed that too. He became very agitated.

I think that John McCain won this debate. Obama Body language said everything, he was lost, angry and sometimes nervous.

MCcain beat him with the phrase

This is the typical. Talk the talk, walk the walk.

yeah. all those "experts" on msnbc. personally, i thought obama took it.

I was thinking the same thing.

Mrs. Alan Greenspan. Yes, THAT'S an objective voice. Wonder how her husband is doing these bubble-popping and deflating times.

And even Pat Buchanan made an appearance. Would it kill him to smile? I'm thinking Halloween mask, with those scowl lines.

I've seen better minds when MSNBC shows those To Catch a Predator reruns.

I repeat for those who are Past Insanity, Obama said he would go into Pakistan to get Bin Laden if we knew where he was and if Pakistan was unable to do the job.

Do you understand what a conditional statement is?

And his conditions make his statement less lunatic?

His rhetoric on Pakistan is counter-productive.

Support for Al-queda among Pakistanis is at it's lowest ebb since 9/11. Obama's comments will be big news there AGAIN today only complicating relations with a populace that's slowly moderating.

And I've also noticed how the will of the people has lately been left out of much of the Georgian incident. I tend to believe the former Soviet Union's population might just not mind associating themselves with a newly strengthened economy or what may evolve into one with Petrograd and the foray into trade with the EU. The Georgian leader is just grandstanding every chance he gets and no cavalry.

Quote from IShopAtPublix:

There is a wonderful principle known as balance of power. Projection of power beyond your (natural) borders is an ever more expensive endeavour.

Russia while in many ways a backward country has a lot of nukes. It can't be treated the same as you would Kazakhstan. So Condi running around like a headless chicken say how she will "punish" russia was utterly moronic. Russia is a petro state which while in the long run is bad for the time being it means it is self sufficient. US has no business caring about Ukraine or S Ossetia it is expensive and foolish and most importantly unsustainable. Don't you think it looks funny how US is sending 1billion to Saakashvili and borrowing it from chinese while US banking system is under sever stress?
