I have three timeframes, the smallest of which usually provides the entry and stop. I am a singles hitter and don't risk more than 7 ticks on the ES or 12 on the NQ. If I can't get in a trade where I want, I wait for the next bus.yes, I am looking at that as a method as well... thing is that sometimes that last swing hi/lo is way out like 10 points or more... that I cannot do
I am a day trader, I get stopped out a lot. But on the NQ, my R/R is roughly 2-1 so I don't concern about the losers.Speedo... .. that is really tight.. 3 points NQ,,, do yo get stopped out often?
%%Some of those turtles might have been mock turtles, I suspect: there may be more money in fading the bull/bear-traps, these days, (according to Linda Raschke, anyway).![]()

yeah... I noticed the same thing on ES... while NQ has been very Whippy...ES has been clean today and much improved over the past several weeks in relation to recent months.
All markets have tradeoffs, you have to find that which suits you.not me, last 2 days trading NQ, yes with real money, I have had 5 stop out trades... and they turned on me fast,
