Anyone trading Tokyo stocks with IB yet?

Thanks. If those are the OSE hours there is a real problem.

It seems the Nikkei is traded only 5 hours at the OSE. It trades 7 hours (with breaks) at the SGX also, and from 3:30am to 4:15pm EST at the CME.

There seems to be no way of holding a contract through various times frames (position trading) (a few days), with alerts or stops that hold through (in between) sessions.

Is this correct ?

Can anybody tell me the Nikkei futures trading hours at the TSE?

The Nikkei futures, both full size and mini, are traded on
the Osaka exchange.
The trading times are 09:00 to 11:00 for the morning
session and 12:30 to 15:10 for the afternoon session.

update: i do not know WHY my n225 mini through OSE was not getting data, and the guy from the chat was wrong (and you were right), it is CFTC approved. i even checked on their website

i sent a trouble ticket in and... lo and behold... it started working tonight

the mini is kind of cool.

Sorry, I live in Tokyo and only daytrade JGB and Nikkei.
So I can't say how IB's alerts and stops would work
over sessions as I don't use or need those functions.

I started looking at fundamental screening first and found three options (all expensive, around $10k/year and up):

(1) S&P Compustat Global
(2) Reuters Fundamentals
(3) Thomson Worldscope

The above also include market data (price and volume) monthly (historical) and daily (ongoing updates)
