Anyone trade TOPIX futures Stock Index?

It's Yen 10,000 * contract value. So if it's 1700 then a contract is Yen 17,000,000 or 170,000 dollars? And 0.5 is $50? The minimum change is perplexing to me. If it goes from 1700 to 1701 how many stages did it pass and how much money would a long position have made?

TOPIX confuses me. It says the smallest change is 0.5 but when I look at the index it has like .08. How much is it per smallest movement?
The futures contract trades in increments of .5, and it's .01 for the index.

2 ticks, 10,000 yen.

But very few trade the Topix contract. It is so inactive compared to the Nkkei225 Mini, which is the 3rd most active contract in the world.

Why does the contract not have the same increment as the index? How mismatched are they? If the index goes from 1,700.05 to 1,700.30 does the contract go from 1,700 to 1,700.5?

Here, if it's 10,000 yen per point, does that mean that on this chart from the low of 1,741 to the price of 1,761 that's 200,000 yen or $2,000? You said it's not very common to trade?

Try looking at this document from the exchange, it breaks down the Topix & Nikkei & compares the differences between them. I trade the Nikkei since it has been a stronger break-out market.
