How bout next time you want to buy a service or a course or one on one training, ask the VENDOR for monthly brokerage statements and if you can call their broker for confirmation of having an account. This is not hard.

If everyone asked for same statements, how long do you think these VENDORS would last?
Actually I think in this case Manny might be able to provide those statements if he wanted to. HIS performance would be not bad since his subscribers help to move his picks. HE will be able in most cases to have a profit, but you cannot say the same about his subscribers.

I just got two email blasts from thestreet.com (I have an old email address on their mailing list) trying to sell this system. Reading the ad was hilarious - it takes snake oil to a new level. They even included a calculator on the webpage so you can calculate how much money you can make!

Does TheStreet accepts such low quality vendors ?

I just got a fairly large promotional pamphlet in the mail from this Manny Backus character. So I did a google search and one of the links that came up was this thread.
First of all, I would never pay money to a stock touter, but I might do a free trial of his program.
In this case, I'll pass. I learned two things from this thread.
Manny Backus is a typical stock trading shell game, who most
likely has a sophisticated day trading front running game going on, which is how he makes most of his money.

Secondly, I see Elite Trader is still full of crass flamers who have probably lost their ass in the markets and have nothing to do but hang out here and write sarcastic stuff.
You wonder why I don't have a lot of posts? Too much irrelevant negative crap posted by the above persons.
It is generally not worth my time.
Good trading to you folks who are actually traders. As for the rest of you, get a life.

WHAT ....? What you guys need to know is that when a website promise you free books or cd's for you to keep even after free trial, it's a scam. When it said for a limited time, its a scam. You do not need to google or read blog about it at all!! This is typical scammer trick. When someone say they are rich and promise to make you rich but still in the business of selling a system or idea, this is a scam!

Once people understand this pattern, they will save themselves a lot of time in researching. I should have know better myself!

Oh hey by the way I do have a system that will make you rich!! Wink: WINK:
