Anyone here ever hear of a guy using the name Grumpee?

Ok. Folks, the difference between a shill and an unintentional advertisemenet is only intent. The action can be the same, but the unintentional does not INTEND to advertise, the intentional does. That being said:
If I were a new trader or a struggling trader and read someone posting "it's amazing he missed the high of the day by a tick" I would think to myself, hey, I can just get in one or two ticks below the call and make fortunes!! LOL, let's pay $300 and make it rich!!
This will not happen. If it was possible, why wouldn't Grumpee just adjust his "system" to take trades within a few ticks of the high and SCALE IN and SCALE OUT of positions?? This is soooooooooooooooo basic. This type of strategy adjustment is trading 101, and Grumpee doesn't even get it. Yeah, that's someone you should listen to.
You say "he does not give a range" like it's something good, he gives an "exact point" like that's something good. But yet, when you examine his results giving that exact point instead of a range yields lots of missed profitable trades. But then after observing this Grumpee still continues to give exact points instead of getting in on profitable trades.
Hmmm, could it be that all the trades are not as profitable as promised? Could it be that they promise to call 4 -6 trades per day but don't!?! Yes on both accounts.

The moderators at mytrades hq's seem to be nervous over this thread. When I recently attempted subscribe, they send me a long list of miltary kinda of stuff on behavior in that room. Little did I noticed that their stuff is intended to hook in newbies, and condemn them to prolonged periods of subscription.
Fortunately, I was able in the last two weeks to be in the room. Guess what, our lady Lav was absent. I did pm'ed another person to check how the room is, and was told that Lav's calls made enough juice to cover even the 250 every day. Highly reliable. Well, I am not salesman for mytrades, and tough I have always suspected Grumpee to have some bank insiders who divulge the no's, I saw that he missed quite a no of swings. There were 3 good swings for around 5-7 pts and grump didnt lift a finger to give guidance.
I agree with most of the naysayers that Elitetrader has tons of free material that can be exploited to gain a meagre 2 pts a day on ES and hang up tools. But I also think that mytrades has planted moles on this Thread to corner would be whistle-blowers. 250 a month, especially when you have around 100 sheep on the ranch paying that amout, comes in a hefty figure.
I know of other free trading rooms, but for fear of advertisement, would share it through pm's.

Lavender will no longer be joining us in the MY TRADES chat room. This change is effective immediately. Starting tomorrow Mike Rocheleau (Uncle Mike) will be our second moderator working with Grumpee. Uncle Mike has been calling trades in the GRUMPEE room on HotComm and he'll now join us in MY TRADES ROOM at 8:30 AM Monday morning.
1) There will no longer be training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
2) The PM function in My TRADES ROOM will be deactivated from 8:00AM through 12:00P.M. Eastern time Monday through Friday
3) There will be no posting of trades allowed in the room unless it was a trade called by the moderators.
Please review the rules for the room again. Those rules will be strictly enforced from this point onward. Violators will be bounced from the room.
From this point onward MY TRADES ROOM will be a trading room only. Moderators will call out specific trades and suggested stop loss parameters.
From here on out we are going to focus exclusively on our core mission ..."Get in...get green and get gone by lunchtime."
Those of you that are in need of a lot of hand holding, continuous mind-numbing chatter and a never ending recap of trades that occured hours earlier can seek that out in many other chatrooms out there. If that's what you need then MY TRADES ROOM is not for you.

Heh heh.. I've got a soft spot for Wayne Harrison, he is a wonderful programmer, and one of the worst traders I've ever seen.. but he has infinite optimism and energy and devloped one of the best momentum based expert advisors I have ever seen

It's a shame because the free room used to be a great place where people shared ideas, now its down to a shell as most have run to the Grumpy room, never to be seen again. Maybe they are doing well, or maybe they were pissed off to the point of leaving both.
I need to find a new place(free) to hang out with good ideas flowing.
