Anyone have experience with Bloomberg?

Quote from SethArb:

can one do correlation studies over say a 6 month , one yr or longer time frame with any financial instrument against another
using a Bloomberg Terminal ?

I will look into that, give me some time though, I am a little overwhelmed.

What is that indicator you have at the bottom? I recognize the directional and the adx...

I really hate you myminitrading... :)

The charts in Launch Pad look look great, the charts you open in the default screens have all the data at the top, I am just now looking into the currency features, like forwards.

I should have everything figured out by this time next year.

I sure wish they would display the current price in the Y axis, like 99% of all charting platforms do.

For longer time frames pull up the security, then hit:

TASC go (daily, weekly, monthly, STOCHS)
MACD go (daily, weekly, monthly, MACD)

For shorter term time frames:

ITAC go (intraday STOCHs)
IMAC go (Intraday MACD)

GP go does line charts

If you are a subscriber, you can call them and they will walk you through anything. ( You should for the price you are paying...)

last, tapping the green help key twice will get you a chat box where you can type in your inquiry.. .

Everytime I call, they say hit help twice and use the live IB chat. I would prefer to talk over the phone myself.
