Well, if Romney is elected it is really the Romney plan that matters, more so than the GOP plan. In a nutshell...
Taxes -- Slightly lower rates with fewer brackets and fewer exemptions. Theoretically resulting in a somewhat broader base. Corporate rate around 25% to "be competitive with the rest of the world." Actually, if you get rid of the partisan nonsense, the Romney tax plan is not Bush II it is Reagan II. He's using the Reagan rates as a guideline of getting the top bracket down to 28%. The corporate rate is actually almost identical to what Obama is now proposing even though he hasn't supported it for the last few years.
Energy -- Drill Baby Drill! Faster permit process for fossil fuel drilling. Construction of large pipelines like Keystone XL. Open more federal lands to drilling. Support new tech like fracking. Re: alternative energy, focus federal funding on core technology R&D, not commercialization. Romney believes that if the government supports the research, then the private sector will commercialize the results when they are ready to be used.
Jobs -- Drill Baby Drill. That is part of it. Romney believes that there will not only be big gains in energy jobs like there is in ND, UT, etc. but he thinks that lower energy costs will allow consumers more discretionary income for consumption. The theory is that this will result in robust job creation as sales will increase and production costs will decrease.
Reduce regulation. Repeal ACA, repeal Dodd-Frank, Amend Sarb-Oxley to not include mid-sized and small businesses.
Aggressively pursue new trade agreements. Designate China a currency manipulator and force them into compliance.
Spending -- Cap federal spending at 20% of GDP initially. Reduce federal workforce by 10% via a 1 for 2 attrition system. Slash foreign aid. Repeal ACA. Privatize expensive things like Amtrak. Align federal employee pay with the private sector.
Foreign Policy -- Buddies with Isreal. Enemies with Iran and Palestine. Vigorously create new alliances with Latin American nations. Phase out Afghanistan and Pakistan based on recommendations from Generals. In Asia, build allinaces with India and surrounding to exert influence against China. Disarm North Korea. Buddies with S. Korea and Japan.

What am I missing?
Will he elaborate? Probably not, even though I think he should. There is this silly notion in our political system that specifics bore people, so both the left and the right are as vague as possible while still trying to convey a message. This is how we end up with Romney or Obama rather than a guy like Ron Paul. Mr. Paul is not a polished speaker and is way too specific about what we need to do. Worse than that, he gave his honest opinion. Poor bastard never had a chance going that route.

Oh yeah, I forgot that one. Which confirms the idea that it is a virtual certainty that Ben will proceed with QE3, maybe even tomorrow at Jackson.
If Obama says he is doing a great job and will reappoint him, while Romney says he will replace him, who's campaign do you think Ben supports? I would love to think that he would just do his job, but it isn't realistic. It is very much in his best interest to attempt any stimulus at his disposal.
