LONDON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - British tobacco company Gallaher Group Plc (GLH.L: Quote, Profile , Research) said on Wednesday it had recently received an approach which could lead to an offer for the company.
"The approach is preliminary and there can be no assurance that any offer will be made," Gallaher said in a statement.
Someone might be buying the company.
