Sounds like a good idea.
How about we meet Downtown Vancouver at The Mill ( www.millbistro.com ) at 6:00 PM on Friday 9/12. It's a good spot to bring some tables together, have a few beers, and talk.
This is a few weeks away to give anyone who wants to attend fair notice.
Just throwing out a suggestion to get the ball rolling.

The Mill ( www.millbistro.ca ) is located on the Coal Harbour Waterfront about a block north of Bute and Hastings. Great little place that just opened about 3 months ago.

I'm from Italy, but lived in Van 6 months ( June-December 2002)
Had a nice appt. on Beach Ave.
The most beautiful sunsets I've seen in a long time.
Nice people, hot women, wonderful environment and cost of life compared to European standard ,unbelievable.
Now I'm going to move to Ibiza (Spain-Balearic Islands), but might consider to come back one day.
A big hug to the whole city

You gonna daytrade from Ibiza? hows the connectivity over there?

ADSL is available in Ibiza and in case of emergency you can use dial-up connection.
I have a couple of friends who live there running a web site for tourists, they told me connection is very reliable.
The only problem is power outage during the summer high-season
but lately it seems to be a world wide issue.
Anyway a generator should be a wise investment.
