New York Times columnist and Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman was recently hired to be the face of CUNYâs Luxembourg Income Study Center, an income inequality research institute. (A position for which heâll be generously remunerated.)
Perhaps this was not the face CUNY had in mind:
The selfies, obtained by Gawkerâs J.K. Trotter via a Freedom of Information Law request, were sent along by Krugman for the Centerâs website. CUNY went with Krugmanâs official New York Times photo instead.
No word yet on whether the selfies were sponsored by Samsung.
