Anyone else worried about the new Healthcare 'repeal' tabled by the GOP?

The only way I see this working out in trumps favor....

This is a setup. He knows it will fail. After Ryan is delivered a massive failure, he's forced to accept trumps original position

If not. Then trump just hurt himself badly. That guy campaigned relentlessly on a full repeal from the very beginning with the hallmark being national competition for insurance.

No repeal. Keep the penalities. Bail out insurers. No competition cross state lines. This is a fucking joke. Trump better smarten the fick up else. He just stabbed his base in the back huge if this goes through

Trump has told his Trumpanzees to get behind this plan. You have your orders now follow them.

The new healthcare bill is a disaster, basically they left in all of the freebies of Obamacare, and removed all the things that were necessary to keep the freebies running, removing the individual mandate will no doubt be good for business, but how can you leave people with pre existing condidtions in if everyone isnt forced to buy insurance? I wanted the mandate to be gone, it was a disaster for businesses, but at the same time, i would have thought they would think of a different solutiong for people with pre existing conditions.

I hate to say it, but we need a seperate pool for people born with pre-existing conditions, most likely run by the government, where taxpayers just eat the extra amount that people cant pay for themselves, cause you cant have those people in the insurance market without the mandate, and without driving the cost of everyone else's insurance through the roof.

I believe we need a seperate pool altogether in order to cover people who were born with pre existing conditions but you also got to be willing to "say tough luck buddy" to people who just decide never to get insurance until they need it, especially if they can afford to pay for it and they just choose not too.

Give the Insurance Companies the ability to disqualify pre existing conditions for 6months to one year for people who enter without coverage. If you want to avoid the system till you are sick oops! But you can carry everything between companies as long as you maintain coverage. Yes and there needs to be a high risk pool to take those individuals out of the pool. That is a sticky one which would be backed by Medicade probably, would probably lead to an increase in Medicare tax but I'd readily pay an extra 1% compared to the butt gouging I experience presently. Drop all state boundaries, that rule was put in by the insurance industry - it creates monopolies. And drop the insurance barrier between Individual and Doctor allowing direct pay. Let the Care Facilities compete for my business.

All of which will never happen as it would severely dig into the Corporate profits of the insurance companies, who help bankroll our elected politicians.

My concern here is trump breaking major campaign promises. All points above are valid and good. However our beloved hammered the table from the beginning on a full repeal and national market for insurance with no state boundaries. Nation wide free for all competition and a full repeal was the hallmark. This is obama care crap and a betrayal.

Single payer, economies of scale, few moving parts to minimize gaming the system. End of story.

Would definitely be best but with repubs having the white house and both houses in congress I think this is a pretty good deal.Even better than some parts of Obamacare. It could be a lot worse such as Rand Paul and other conservatives demands of complete repeal and go back to the old system while the moderates and the far right try to agree on a replacement.

If he fucks us on this - an issue he was so vociferous about - he could fuck us on anything.

None of his agenda works unless he draws a hardline. Especially on trade, taxes, regulation, and immigration. It's crazy

He also said he wanted everyone covered. This bill is an acceptable middle ground until Dems take back power and do it right with a public option or single payer.
