Anybody Want to Talk About Forex?

Quote from contra:

check it out here in 8 parts. Not sure if its the whole thing, but it's all I saw.

episode 4 is the guy I am talking about, a bit after 7 minutes into it, I just checked.

LOL now that i'm watching this again.. it's hilarious. He was so drunk they had to use subtitles, like with Ozzy.
thanks again contra, I finished watching all 8 parts. Makes me realize just how happy I am.

I have a limit in to cover some EUR at 2487. It got as close as 2490 last night and then pulled away. Even if I get filled I will still be short, but at a reduced size.

it's not just slow, everything I have on is trading like it is stuck in molasses.

same with JPY, I'm long from 78.86 and have limit on there just to get the hell out and breakeven. Looked like it was getting close and pulled back

got filled on the eur so back to one unit, took the loss on the JPY

hopefully I'm not complacent, but I am no longer afraid to get short USD/CAD down here

I have been short from 98.90 as long as I can remember (which isn't saying much due to short term memory loss as a result of a fair amount of substance abuse)

but if it ever shows me a profit (and as far as I can remember I have been underwater ever since I put it on) I will not be afraid to add to it

even though it seems like you would have to be a total idiot to sell down here (but I've seen stranger things happen)

can you say something smart in your 4,000 post?
no, I've long since given up on that, I'm just going for the record, but I'm always looking for inspiration. If you don't mind and it's not too much bother, could you point me to something you have posted that is smart?

that's the beauty of the internet. Two people who have seemingly different points of view can finally agree on something.

Not sure what your problem is with me. I started this thread on a Sunday afternoon so anybody that wanted to talk about forex could talk about it since we were all about bored out of our minds at the time.

Don't matter to me if you want to talk about your broker or the EUR, or the Sunday GBP/CAD spread, or quadrangial arbitration.

It aint like it's my thread or anything. If you want to talk about forex go ahead.

Unless you can make us laugh, not really sure how personal attacks provides any useful information to anybody or even enjoyable reading.

but, maybe you got a deeper plan

I'm trying to warm up to forex. I really need to wake up about now if I were to get serious about it though...it seems that as soon as London shuts down everything just grinds to a halt.
