Correct -there is no PDT rule trading Futures.

I'm not sure whether the PDT rule also applies to futures, or only to stocks. Anyway, with your 23.5 k USD account size it should be possible for you to increase that to 25+ k USD? After which the PDT rule does not apply any more.

No, not practical at the moment. I have to trade up. Right now I am out of day trades. I WAS briefly up over the line but I let TSLA suck me back down. I just figured maybe on days when I could not trade stocks, I could still trade a micro or two and make a little something. I really haven't even decided I want to trade the micros, anyway.
